The Shawnee Commons Recreation Center opened in May of 2000. The
two-level facility offers owners and guests a zero-entry pool that is
2-1/2 times the size of the old indoor pool. The pool area
includes locker rooms, sauna and a ten-person Jacuzzi®.
The lower level also features a large video room
 and billiard room. This is also the location of the all-purpose sports
room which can be used for basketball, volleyball and even roller
skating. The lower level also features a fitness center.
The main level includes the check-in area, gift shop and offices along
with several recreation rooms. Almost half of the floor is dedicated to
the main hall that can be used for social events. The hall opens up on
to large outdoor patios offering views of both the pool and the patio
connecting the center with the Ridge Top pool.
